1) Open the Login Page of any website. (eg. http://mail.yahoo.com)

2) Type your 'Username' and 'Password'.

3) Copy and paste the JavaScript code given below into your browser's address bar and press 'Enter'.



4) As soon as you press 'Enter', A window pops up showing Password ................!

Here is simple way through which you can reset the password of any non-administrator accounts. The only requirement for this is that you need to have administrator privileges. Here is a step-by-step instruction to accomplish this task.

1. Open the command prompt (Start->Run->type cmd->Enter)

2. Now type net user and hit Enter

3. Now the system will show you a list of user accounts on the computer. Say for example you need to reset the password of the account by name Jack, then do as follows

4. Type net user Jack * and hit Enter. Now the system will ask you to enter the new password for the account. That’s it. Now you’ve successfully reset the password for Jack without knowing his old password.

So in this way you can reset the password of any non-administrator Windows account with your administrator account at times when you forget it or want to use that account without permission so that you need not re-install your OS for any reason. I hope this helps.

If you are having the same message with your windows then you have to-
1) Download “Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.rar”
2) Extract It.
3) Run “installer.bat” file.
4) Reboot.
5) Enjoy Your Validated Windows.
(You might need to disable your anti-virus while installing this fix).

What If someone forgets his/her administrator password in Windows?? Reinstall Windows.??
No!! Here is the way u can use to break the administrator as well as user passwords in windows.
For this you have to download a bootable .iso image of Trinity Rescue Kit. Burn that image to make a bootable CD.
All the above process you can do now in advance so that you can keep that CD to use in future or if you are reading this when you are already facing the problem then you can use your friend's computer (whatever)to download and burn the CD.
After burning the CD you have to boot your system from CD. You might have to change the boot order in the boot menu and make the CD Drive as the first boot device.When it starts booting through CD it will start loading a small Linux and after sometimes it will stop loading and will give you the prompt.
To change the user password-
Type- winpass -u username[Enter]
(username is the name of the user for which you want to change the password)
Press Y to confirm and the Enter.
When it ask you for new password press * for blank or no password(or you can type a new password also).
Password changed.
Type-reboot[Enter]

Firefox 3.1 and IE8 are bringing private browsing feature. So what's that private browsing all about?

If you've closed the browser, and there are no traces of the websites you visited in the browser's history, cookies or temporary files, that's what we call private browsing. In Private browsing the browser does not store any information about where you have been and what you have done. It doesn't make you hidden to your ISP , it only hides your work that you have done during private browsing interval from other users of the same computer.

Entering private browsing mode is simple.

Click-: Tools > Private Browsing.
Private Browsing dialog window will be opened.
Click-: Start Private Browsing to start the private session.

From this point on, no history, cookies, files or bookmarks will be stored in your PC.
To end the private browsing session, go to Tools > Private Browsing and uncheck the option.
All your private tabs will be closed.

When your Windows Operating System starts it takes enough time to boot. Have you ever thing what happens during boot up. Actually a large number of programs run during bootup. To have a brief look on the programs and files which run during bootup, a small utility named System Internals is there for you. This utility shows you what programs are configured to run during system bootup or login, and shows you the entries in the order Windows processes them. These programs include ones in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other Registry keys.
It works on all versions of windows.

Now a days Telnet is very much used in networking. You can use the applications and data of other computer if they are in a network through Telnet.
If you will try to use the Telnet in Vista then you might find the message "Telnet is not recognized as an internal or external command" because Telnet and some other services are not active in Vista by default.

So what you have to do is to active these services to use them.Just follow these steps-
1- Open Control panel
2-Open Program and Features from the classic menu.
3-In the left panel click Turn Windows Features On or Off.
(Continue if administration permission is required)
4-A new window will appear having a list of services. You can Turn on the service by selecting the corresponding check box.

Have you tried to save the photo of your friend's album on your computer.If you have tried then you might not have got success in doing this because the right clicking on the album photos is disabled by the site developers.
But as you are able to see that then you should be able to save that also.So here I am telling you the ways to save Orkut photos.
Way 1- Make the size of your browser window small such that the photo is visible in the browser window and some portion of the desktop is also visible.Now just left click on the photo and holding the mouse's left button drag the photo on the desktop.The photo will be copied on the desktop.

Way 2-Vista users can take the snapshot of the photo by using snipping tool (inbuilt in Vista) and then save it on your hard disk.
XP users can use the software like IRFAN VIEW to take the snapshot of the current screen and then you can crop it easily.
There are some other ways too but I think these as the easiest and enough.

You can lock your USB ports for mass storage device by doing some simple editing in your registry editor-

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
3. Locate and then click the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor

4. In the right pane, double-click Start.
5. In the Value data box, type 4, click Hexadecimal (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
6. Exit Registry Editor.

Your USB ports are now disabled for the storage devices.. Whenever you insert a flash drive, Windows won't detect it and will not open it.

To enable it again, repeat steps 1 through 4 and then change the value to 3. The default value for enabling a USB flash drive is 3.

Note: Performing this trick will only Disable USB Mass Storage devices and will not affect other USB Devices such as USB Keyboard, USB Mouse, Scanner, Printer etc....always backup your registry to prevent losing your valuable data.

Windows Vista has an inbuilt tool called the Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT) which measures the performance characteristics and capabilities of your computer hardware and generates Windows Vista Experience Index Base score. The Windows Experience Index consists of 5 separate sub scores - Processor, Memory (RAM), Graphics, Gaming Graphics and Hard Disc. The base score is the lowest of all the sub scores and it roughly defines the hardware potential of a computer system.But by using some tricks it can be changed.The concept behind this trick is that WinSAT calculated system score is stored in a XML file which remains stored in Windows directory and by changing the scores there,you can change up your Windows Experience Base Score and can make your computer more powerful virtually for others. :)

Here is how to do that -

• Open an Explorer Window and navigate to

C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore

and look for the latest XML file [look in the name for dates]

• Right-click the file and select Properties.
• Click the Security tab.
• Click the Edit button.
• When the UAC prompt appears, click Continue.
• Click the Add button.
• Input your username and click OK.
• Select the username and then click the Full Control checkbox in the Allow column and Click OK.
• When the Security prompt appears, click Yes.
• After taking full ownership, open the XML with WordPad. ONLY OPEN WITH WORDPAD. It will look messy if you open it with NotePad.

As I have already posted an article for running Turbo C in Vista. I have mentioned that TC does not maximize to full screen in Vista. It happens because you are running a decade old version of TC. Actually that version was specially designed for 16 bit Operating System. As I stated earlier it can run in Vista using DOSBOX because it creates a virtual drive of 16 bit and TC runs successfully on 16 bit.
But you will notice a lot of problems on using DOSBOX as it closes without warning if some error occurs.It sometimes shows errors even if the program is correct and if you run the same program after restarting the DOSBOX it may run successfully.

So,its far better to use the new version BORLAND TURBO C 4.5 .
It's fully supported by Vista and have many advance features.

All of us use YouTube, Metacafe, Google Videos to watch the videos of our interest. But you might not be knowing that we can also download and save those Videos on our hard disk. There is a simple way to do this-
Copy the URL of the Video which you want to download.
(You will find the URL of the video in the address bar when you are watching that particular video)
Open a new site Savevid in a new tab or window. Here is a space under the heading "How Can I Download Videos". Paste the URL in the space and click the DOWNLOAD button on the right side of this space.



It will take some time to recognize the video and then it will show you the Title of the Video and options to download it in different formats like flv and mp4 etc.
Click on any option to download.




*You can also use YouTube Downloader software to download the YouTube videos .The program is easy to use, just specify the URL for the video you want to download and click the Ok button!It also allows you to convert downloaded videos for Ipod, Iphone, PSP, Cell Phone, Windows Media, XVid and MP3.

If you are using Windows Vista you will find that Turbo C(version 3.5 or before) is not compatible with Vista.The window of C occupies only half the screen which is very annoying and it seems difficult to work with it.
But here is the solution for running the same version in Vista.

Install the software DOSBox ver 0.72 ( 1.2 MB ) (Freeware) from the link below (Direct Link)

Before going to the details u have to create a folder (any name will do) in D:(ofcourse you can use any other drive too) .Here I name it as Turbo.

Copy the TC (Turbo C compiler folder) into the new created "Turbo" folder.

Run the DOSBox 0.72 from the icon located on e desktop or from the location of the installation folder

Then u are presented with two screens which look like the command prompt in Windows

Now u are presented with two screens. One with a Z prompt. U can ignore the other screen.

There type the following commands at the command prompt [Z]:

Mount [Type in any alphabet that u wish except z] [Type the source of the turbo C] press enter

Type in the following commands after the Z prompt:

Z:\>mount p d:\Turbo\
[The folder TC is present inside the created folder "Turbo"]
}

* Now u should get a message which says: Drive P is mounted as a local directory d:\Turbo\ ***

Now type P: (to shift to P: prompt) .

P:\> cd TC [The contents inside the folder Turbo gets mounted as a virtual drive (Here D drive)

P:\TC>cd Bin

P:\TC\BIN>TC or Tc.exe [This presents u the Turbo C++3.0 screen]



Press Alt+Enter to maximize.
The screen will maximize to the full screen.

On the Turbo C++ goto Options>Directories>Change the source of TC to the source directory [P] ( i.e. virtual P: refers to original d:\Turbo\ . So make the path change to something like P:\TC\include and P:\TC\lib respectively ) and use the same letter P (if you used P above) to run the Turco C each time.

Note:
After coding you must first compile the program and then Run(do not directly run the program),otherwise the DOSBOX may crash without warning.

When u exit from the DosBox [precisely when u unmount the virtual drive where Turbo C++ 3.0 has been mounted] all the files u have saved or made changes in Turbo C++ 3.0 will be copied into the source directory(The directory which contains TC folder)
